It occurred to me that a million other people must have had the same humiliating exercise experience I had. I needed to create an exercise system that was completely different. I installed cotton shower curtains around each exercise machine to provide privacy for each person. There is a curtain between each machine and in the front of each machine. These curtains slide on a thin wire cable. If 2 friends come in together and want to talk to each other, the curtain between the machines is left open. If a person comes in alone, which is the most common scenario, the curtains are pulled shut to provide privacy. When people get weighed and measured, it is behind closed curtains. Ever person is treated with dignity and no one is ever chastised or criticized. Every time a person comes in to exercise on the machines, they are instructed how to get on the machine, what to do to achieve maximum benefits and what each machine is doing to help them reach their goals or solve their problem. There is no financial pressure, no contract to sign, no up front money. Ten minutes is spent on each of the 5 motorized Therapeutic Exercise Machines.
